Background

Craig Freeman earned his Ph.D. at Kansas State University in 1985. He is a Curator in the R.L. McGregor Herbarium, Division of Botany, KU Natural History Museum and Biodiversity Research Center.

Research Interests

Dr. Freeman's current research interests include plant systematics, floristics of the grassland biome of North America, prairie conservation, and collection-based informatics. He is active in the Flora of North America project, contributing as an author, editor, and member of the FNA's Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
